The mall arrives

Montgomery Mall opens at Route 309 and 202 Business.

1979 – 2001

Neshaminy Falls

The Village of Neshaminy Falls is built — 776 manufactured homes.

1990 – 2020

Tract homes fill in

Montgomeryville grows from about 9,100 people to nearly 13,000.

Today

Still building

Montgomery Township added 266 new homes in 2024, most of them multifamily.

GOOD TO KNOW

Manufactured and 55+ homes need different equipment

Montgomery Township has several age-restricted communities, including the 776 manufactured homes at the Village of Neshaminy Falls. Manufactured homes use furnaces and water heaters built specifically for them — a standard unit isn’t a like-for-like swap.
